MySQL database has been lost
Posted by WestNIC Support on 15 April 2010 08:20 PM
Problem: MySQL data base has been disappeared within cPanel > MySQL
Possible cause:

a) you or somebody else removed it within cPanel (user/pass is required)
b) you changed username for cPanel
c) you ran restore from full backup which contained different original username.

How to resolve this issue:

1. If you didn't change username, you can run MySQL restore from own backup. If you changed username, backup will fail.
or
2. Run full site restore from our offsite backup server. It will cost $10.00 per website. Please keep in mind that backup is useless if you have changed username for cPanel.
